Yummy food in the east!

before we went Everything with Fries

had sashimi at SAKURAYA Fish Mart

there we had the freshest and most worthwhile sashimi

the looks of the salmon were simply luring

until we finish every piece without taking a picture of it
(hahaha)

u can get a wholesome plate of sashimi for just a price of $8.00 to $18.00
(they adjust the price according to the freshness, i think)

it's a must try!!!!

after sashimi,

Eileen and lala went to Everything with Fries at Joo Chiat

they opened for less than 1 month

but seems like their business is quite good
(even though their lady boss(i think) didnt gave us very good service):
bleh

they have a cute menu of only erm..6 main course

lala ordered grill pork chop(main)
casear salad(greens)
Straight cut fries in curry powder(fries!)
$13++

was quite surprised to see the casear salad accompanying with toasted bread and bits of cheese
cos last week i ate there and it was plain vege (cos lala hates mayo)
guess it's a thumb up for them to improvise so fast
^   ^

Eileen girlie ordered breaded salmon(main)
coleslaw(greens)
Straight cut fries in curry powder(fries)
$13++

must really say tat the breaded salmon was presented in a nice manner
only the top was fried
leaving the rest of the salmon cooked till juicy
the chef is good man!
zai!!
the coleslaw looks like they were prepared freshly too

girlie was saying tat it feels like eating junk food cos the fries were covered in generous curry powder
hahaha
yumyum!
lala loves junkies
\[^   ^]/

the place is like a house with hall and rooms

there is room called the library

decorated with books and shelves

overall, the prices are reasonable
we ordered the most expensive dishes on the menu
(but it was only $13++)

the rest are from about $8++ to $9++
like burgers & sandwiches

lala would love to go makan there again

next time maybe can try their desserts

they have nutella tart, cupcakes & etc

next,
(next again?!)

YES!

we must satisfy our craving for sweet stuffs after dinner

hoho!

just a few shops away is Obolo

macarons must be their signature!

best macarons lala ever tasted so far
yummmmmmmmmmm!

Gianduja cake was nt bad too

the hazelnut and and crisp in the bottom layer gives the mouthful of cake a good punch

lala is super dooper happy with desserts!

& Eileen too!

Obolo was featured in many magazines

but we were the only customers in the shop then
( few customer walked in ltr)

the salted caramel chocolate macaron was a pleasant surprise

the different combination apart from the usual sweet-sweet or sweet-sour macarons makes us go
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  !

oops

we were too full le

so sorry
(we let u down for not finishing u up, Gianduja)

hahaha

hehehe

ta bao macarons home!

oh ya

the macaron is $2 each
(but super worthwhile)

cakes roughly from $6++ onwards
