steps to take note

- put corn and carrot to make soup base sweet 1st

- prawns are optional but it will make the soup even yummier!

(put prawn shells only first)

meanwhile

prepare other ingredients

othe than the vege

lala bought sotong and prawns too!

yumyum!

(seems like no market help customers to chop the sotong)

(so scary to see the eyes of the sotong when u are about to chop them man!)

before we went Everything with Fries

had sashimi at SAKURAYA Fish Mart

there we had the freshest and most worthwhile sashimi

the looks of the salmon were simply luring

until we finish every piece without taking a picture of it

(hahaha)

u can get a wholesome plate of sashimi for just a price of $8.00 to $18.00

(they adjust the price according to the freshness, i think)

it's a must try!!!!

after sashimi,

Eileen and lala went to Everything with Fries at Joo Chiat

they opened for less than 1 month

but seems like their business is quite good

(even though their lady boss(i think) didnt gave us very good service):

casear salad(greens)

Straight cut fries in curry powder(fries!)

was quite surprised to see the casear salad accompanying with toasted bread and bits of cheese

cos last week i ate there and it was plain vege (cos lala hates mayo)

guess it's a thumb up for them to improvise so fast

must really say tat the breaded salmon was presented in a nice manner

How different do you view lifeguards now after understanding more about them? Would you want to be a lifeguard and why?

lala answer:
After today’s lesson, I have a better idea of why the lifeguards gave us those kinds of impressions. They wear sunglasses not to look cool but to protect their eyes from the UV rays and to have better visuals inside the pool on sun-glaring days. They are not doing nothing when they are sitting by the pool by is actually focusing on every movement around the pool. And maybe they did not even want to look so fit, but they have to train their strength and stamina and therefore have that fit and lean body (hahaha). They did no really want show to off their six packs but the weather is simply tiring them out (hahahaha).
